2022 was a tumultuous year. By 2022 the world expected that covid would truly be far behind us and that everything would be back to normal. What I instead learned was that there is no going back or back to normal. Life is full of changes and challenges but it's up to us to rise to those challenges and find opportunity for growth and happiness.
As I finish the year I am so thankful to those around me who have supported me and encouraged me. My family, in particular has been my rock and listened to my hairbrained ideas no matter how frivolous. One of my highlights was rescuing a wonderful cat from living a life outside who I am super happy to call my own little white cat Ghost now. I wish I could save them all, but at least I tried to do my part in helping one little soul.
Over the year, I learned to really stop and smell the roses, not because I have to, but because I want to. It's important to make time for things that inspire us and make us truly who we are. I hope that all of us can dedicate some time to the things that really define us in 2023 and beyond.
Goodbye 2022 and welcome 2023, I look forward to seeing all that you have to offer!
